1. Introduction
These Terms of Use («Terms») govern your use of the Kvitter mobile application («App», «Kvitter») developed and operated by NOXX AS («we», «us», «our»), organisation number 933 532 827, registered in Norway.
By downloading, installing, or using Kvitter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kvitter. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account
You may create an account using Apple Sign-In or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions and payments
4.1 Free and Pro tiers
Kvitter offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro subscription with additional features including unlimited Coach Conrad access, unlimited Quit Together duels, home screen widget, exclusive trophies, and member deals.
4.2 Auto-renewable subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are auto-renewable and are processed entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Price changes: If the subscription price increases, Apple will notify you and request consent before renewing at the new price.
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. We do not process payments directly and never have access to your payment information.
4.3 Refunds
Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as they process all payments. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
5. User conduct
When using Kvitter, you agree not to:– Harass, bully, or threaten other users – Post content that is illegal, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or promotes violence – Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity – Attempt to access other users’ data or accounts – Use the App for commercial advertising or spam – Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App – Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or subscription restrictionsWe reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Community features
Kvitter includes community features such as friends, duels, events, and comments. Content you share through these features (display name, avatar, days clean, duel comments) is visible to other users. You are responsible for the content you share.We may moderate community content and remove material that violates these Terms.
7. Coach Conrad (AI)
Coach Conrad is an AI-powered motivational assistant. It is not a medical professional, therapist, or counsellor.
– Coach Conrad provides general motivational support and information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment.
– Do not rely on Coach Conrad as a substitute for professional medical or psychological help.
– Do not share sensitive personal information (financial details, medical records, addresses) in coach messages.
– AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. Use your own judgement.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified health professional.
8. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding in Kvitter (including but not limited to the app interface, trophy artwork, icons, and Coach Conrad’s persona) are owned by NOXX AS or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written consent.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Kvitter is provided «as is» and «as available» without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
– The App will be available at all times or without interruption
– The information provided (including AI coach responses) will be accurate or complete
– The App will meet your specific requirements
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NOXX AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our [Privacy Policy](https://kvitterapp.com/privacy/) for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
12. Termination
You may stop using Kvitter at any time. You may delete your account in Profile > Reset Everything > Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the «Last updated» date at the top. Continued use of Kvitter after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
